The Yashwantrao Chavan Center has become known as the cultural and social center of South Mumbai due to its state-of-the-art auditorium and various programs that are organized in the auditorium. The facilities required for various events are available in a single building provided with the option of 564 seating arrangement in the Main Auditorium, 225 seating arrangement in the Rangaswar and 150 seating arrangement in the cultural hall.
The well-equipped main hall of the Yashwantrao Chavan Center is the center of major cultural, social, economic and political events in Mumbai. The main hall with total capacity of 564 seats is used for various events as well as for meetings, conventions, training programs, discussions, seminars, films, cultural programs, plays, organized by the government, corporate sector and various social organizations. Mainly the corporate sector organizes meetings, shareholder meetings, launch events, team-building events and various types of appreciation events throughout the year. The hall is also available for Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, English plays, and musical concerts, etc. The main hall is equipped with air conditioning, comfortable chairs, Dolby digital sound system and more amenities. In the main hall, Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai organizes event such as National Awards on Yashwantrao's birthday, State Awards on Punyatithi, and International Film Festival.
The Rangswar Hall with 225 seating arrangements on the fourth floor of the Yashwantrao Chavan Center is also ideal for cultural events, theatrical plays, conferences, seminars, inaugural functions and meetings. The state-of-the-art sound system and grand stage make the Rangaswar Hall a medium-sized yet a well- equipped auditorium. The freedom to change the seating arrangement as required is also possible in this hall. Meetings, seminars, workshops as well as various cultural programs are organized by the Government and Private sector in the Rangswar Hall.
The cultural hall on the fourth floor of the Yashwantrao Chavan Center is ideal for a limited number of events. The Cultural Hall can accommodate up to 150 people. In this hall it is possible to make arrangement for stage, sound system, seats and decoration depending on the nature of the events.
The Board room with 35 seating capacity on the fifth floor of the Yashwantrao Chavan Center is ideal for business conference, meetings etc. Board Room is equipped with air conditioning, comfortable chairs, Round table and more amenities.
