Education Vertical of Yashwantrao Chavan Center was established in 2008 under the guidance of Dr. Kumud Bansal to create a society that proactively thinks and acts on education. Smt. Supriya Sule -Working President of Yashwantrao Chavan Center is the Convener of this Vertical. While Dr. Vasant Kalpande is the Chief Convener, Basanti Roy is the Special Advisor and Dr. Madhav Suryavanshi is the Coordinator of this Vertical. Najma Qazi, Ainul Attar, Ajit Tijore and Jaywant Kulkarni are members of the core team of Education Vertical. Over 20,000 teachers, principals, educators, journalists, and NGO representatives are associated with Education Vertical. Through Education Vertical, Yashwantrao Chavan Center acts as a catalyst in facilitating positive change in the field of education.
Various initiatives such as Shikshan Katta, Shikshan Sahitya Puraskar are organized by Education Vertical along with seminars, conferences for improving the quality of education for teachers, educators and parents.
