On the occasion of Hon. Sharadchandraji Pawar Saheb’s Birthday and Birth anniversary of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, Yashwantrao Chavan Center, Pawar Public Charitable Trust with District Rehabilitation Center run by Mahatma Gandhi Seva Sangh organized a community wedding ceremony for specially-abled individuals on 3rd January. The Marriage Ceremony was conducted in compliance with all the COVID-19 preventive measures as prescribed by the authorities. Tributes were paid to Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule during the program. The program commenced with a reading of the Constitution.
Smt. Supriya Sule - the Working President of Yashwantrao Chavan Center attended the program virtually and extended her best wishes to the bride and groom. Minister for Public Health - Rajesh Tope, Minister for Social Welfare and Special Assistance Dhananjay Munde, and President of Maharashtra State Women's Commission Rupali Chakankar also attended the program. Pune Zilla Parishad Vice President Ranjit Shivtare, Pune District President of Nationalist Congress Party Pradip Garatkar, Pune City President Prashant Jagtap, and Social Welfare Officer Pravin Korgantiwar were also present for the wedding ceremony.
